Altos de Chavón
A hand-built replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village, perched on a cliff above the Chavón River gorge. Cobblestone streets, coral-stone architecture, and bougainvillea-draped walls lead to art galleries, artisan workshops, and the Church of St. Stanislaus — the resort's most photographed wedding venue.
Its 5,000-seat open-air amphitheater, inaugurated by Frank Sinatra in 1982, has since hosted Elton John, Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, and Beyoncé. For dining, La Piazzetta serves Italian classics with river views, while Chilango Taquería and Café del Sol offer more casual fare. A monthly Farmer's Market on the last Saturday brings local artisans, and the Regional Museum of Archaeology houses pre-Columbian Taíno artifacts.
La Marina
Designed by architect Gianfranco Fini in the style of Portofino, Italy, Casa de Campo's Marina spans 90,000 square meters with 370 slips accommodating yachts from 30 to 250 feet. At its heart, the colonial-style Yacht Club serves as the social hub for sport fishing tournaments — including the annual Marina Casa de Campo Cup — and everyday gatherings alike.
Portofino Plaza alone hosts more than 20 boutiques and restaurants, including Causa, La Enoteca, Limoncello, and Peperoni. Minitas Beach Club
Casa de Campo's flagship beach club, redesigned by Studio Fini and reopened in 2017, centers on a 23-meter infinity pool and lounge deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Widely considered home to one of the best sunsets on the island, it's equal parts restaurant, pool club, and social gathering spot.
The restaurant seats 169 in the main dining room with additional private areas for up to 80 more, serving a Mediterranean-Latin fusion menu built around fresh Caribbean seafood. Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore & The Links
Three Pete Dye courses, 63 holes in total, all inside the gates. Teeth of the Dog is the headline — seven holes played directly on the Caribbean, and ranked the number one course in the Caribbean for over 30 consecutive years.
Dye Fore runs along the cliffs above the Chavón River gorge with holes overlooking the marina and the Altos de Chavón village, while The Links is the inland Scottish-style layout — the most playable of the three and a favourite for everyday rounds.
Genesis Night Club
Casa de Campo's own late-night institution, set in Altos de Chavón. Genesis has been the resort's dancing address since the 1970s and was completely redesigned and relaunched in 2015.
It draws an unusual mix — resort guests, villa owners and Romanenses who have been coming for decades — which is exactly what keeps the village alive after the amphitheatre empties.
Onno's Bar & Restaurant
The long-running favourite in Altos de Chavón — equal parts bar and restaurant, and the one place on property that reliably runs late. Known for its mojitos, tuna tacos and brick-oven pizza served until closing.
